CONCEPT
An award winning concept, by the architect Stefano Boeri Architetti that will be established for the first time in Africa and the Middle East, the Vertical Forest will be located in IL BOSCO project in the heart of the New Capital. Driven by innovation and creativity, the project is introducing trend-setting concepts that can improve the Egyptian real-estate sector and sustain the country’s plan to achieve environmental sustainability. The Vertical Forest concept was granted numerous awards, including the International High-Rise Award in 2014 and the Best Tall Building Worldwide Award in 2015 by CTBUH.
LOCATION
A spot on location at the New Capital, the Vertical Forest is located within IL BOSCO at the heart of the Green River and right by Mohamed Bin Zayed St., which will be lying next to some of the most active districts around the New Capital.
DESIGN
The design of the first Egyptian Vertical Forest will be unprecedented and unique. It will mainly consist of three 30 meter tall buildings, blending both nature and architecture perfectly. Wrapped in hundreds of green plants and trees on balconies and windows, the Vertical Forest aims to limiting pollution and decreasing population density in urban cities. One of the Vertical Forest buildings will host serviced apartments by a five-star international hotel chain, while the other two buildings are going to include branded apartments for the same chain.
